A manicure. Three fashion magazines. Numerous trips to get that Starbucks fix. Dinner with a crew of friends. What do these all have in common?

They each cost about $15. Sure, those are just some of the indulgences women look forward to each day, but kicking one of those to the curb to donate to a worthy cause feels much better than any pampering session.

Phoenix, Arizona radio jock Lady La glams up and strikes a pose in the 12-month calendar, created to support an autism foundation in her area. So why is the Power 98.3 personality showing some skin while rocking designer threads?

“My youngest brother is autistic, which is why I have chosen to donate half of every calendar sold to an Autism Foundation here in the Valley,” La states. “Autism is a developmental disorder that appears in the first three years of life, and affects the brain’s normal development of social and communication skills. Most parents of autistic children suspect that something is wrong by the time the child is 18 months old. Some children appear normal from ages one to two then suddenly ‘regress’ and lose language and social skills they had previously gained, like my brother. To say this condition has changed my life and my family’s life is an understatement.”

Remembering important dates (doctor’s appointment, Brad Pitt’s birthday) and just knowing how many months have 31 days (if you score a dude who knows this answer, he’s a keeper) will be that much easier by purchasing La’s calendar. Plus, it’ll make a good Christmas present for the boys.
